AZAR QUALITY CANDY RECIPES FROM
SWEETHEART COOKIES
INGREDIENTS
1 C. Butter,
softened
1 1/3 C. Granulated
sugar
1 1/3 C. Light
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
extract
1 1/2 C. All-purpose
flour
1 tsp Baking soda
3 C. Quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 C. AzarÒ Peanuts, roasted & chopped
1 package (6
ounces) Semi-sweet chocolate bits
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375
degrees F. Cream butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl; add eggs and
vanilla. Beat until fluffy, mix flour with soda in large bowl, and add
oats and toss to coat with flour mixture. Add to first mixture a cup at a
time until completely mixed. Stir in peanuts and chocolate bits. (Batter
will be stiff). Drop from a teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake for
10-12 minutes.
Yields: 6-dozen.
